Ken Jennings, best known for winning 74 games on Jeopardy! while earning $2.5 million, seems to be confiding in a new show, The Late Late Show , that he thinks he’s too old to be playing game shows.

Jennings appeared on “Late Late Show” in a pre-taped segment with host James Corden and when asked about the possibility of returning to games shows, Jennings said, “I get paid a lot more money to play golf. I do something in the sports world.”

When pressed further on the topic, Jennings hinted that he wouldn’t take part, saying, “I am old. I’m 47. If you were to ask me right now that’s when I’d stop playing, but I don’t have to answer that. That’s the absolute truth.”

After Corden suggested Jennings hang up his golf clubs and return to Jeopardy!, the latter said, “You’re being very, very rude.”

Jennings has been active on Twitter for the past few years, adding to his already formidable collection of tweets by winning the 2018 TED Prize.
